It will be nice if you read FrontBase price list before replaying

I obviously did read the price list before replying. I already knew that their intro license was free, but correctly figured that a embedded license was not free. The original poster specifically stated that he was looking for a free solution (it is even in the subject line), you might have wanted to consider that in your reply. He also said that he was looking at something that would install along with his application, so that ruled out the starter version right away.
Since Frontbase does not give any guidance what-so-ever about the pricing structure for the ebbed version on their web site (see I did read it), I guessed that it would probably cost more than the first commercial version ($1000). I seems that from your experience I was wrong, but it was still a good guess. But even you don't give guidance about how much it would cost. I imagined that the original poster was working on a system for a limited number of clients, and I would still guess that Frontbase is going to price itself out of his means.

1. The starter version is for free, and
2. If you want to bundle, they say talk to them. And from own experience, they will not charge $1000 for $10 application!

And talking about price. Many people think the free software is the cheapest. Not so. If you count the excellent performance of the engine, simplicity of administration, and the most fantastic support I've ever seen (the FrontBase folks saved use months of headache) I do not believe you will ever find better and cheaper database solution for Mac (and many other) platforms!
