I have a multi-document app, that works nicely, except for some aesthetics. One of them is the fact that a new document is placed on screen first, but then repositions to nicely cascade it with respect to the already open ones.
Of course, I would first like to have the reposition taking place before the window is actually thrown on screen, loosing the annoying jump of each window right after it's appearance....

You've probably selected "Visible at launch time" for the window -- unselect it (in IB).
