Command dragging does not do what I want at all. I want to be able to
drag from anywhere in the window to move/resize it, not just the
titlebar.
For instance, I'm writing this using Mail. I want to move the window to
the other side of the screen so I just hold option and click/drag the
window over there without clicking on the titlebar. Now say I want to
resize the window left and up rather than right and down. I hold option
and right click in upper left ninth of the window (imagine a
tick-tack-toe board) and drag the window to the size that I want.
My sense was that you were trying to do something more ambitious.
