No, we're the laughing stock of the rest of the computer world because people like to laugh at minorities; especially when they have a secret suspicion that the minority might be right...

No, I'm pretty sure it's the mice.

Well, I can live with people laughing at my mouse. *I* know it's better than theirs, and that's what matters to me.

The USB cables are all of 3 feet long and they have a single button. This is really not an issue for my purposes, I just could not stand to use only a single button mouse.

Whereas I have a feral loathing of two- and three-buttoners. Luckily for me, Apple seems to be on my side. Earlier you asked "Why can't Apple just ship 3 button mice like the rest of the world?" You might as well ask why Apple doesn't ship Windows like the rest of the world. There's no reason for doing things badly just because that's how the rest of the world does it. Three-button mice are a symptom (and, to a degree, a cause) of bad design.

This has become even worse since apple released X11.app since many X11 apps use 3 buttons. I just couldn't survive without my Logitech.

I use the Gimp with X11, and manage fine with my standard Apple mouse. The only problem I have with it is the hideous, clunky, Windoze-style interface.

This is totally off topic though.

You're right. No more on this from me.

Regards,
-Jeremy
