Hi Aki,
It is true that outline data in these fonts is encoded in CFF, but
that doesn't limit us to also attach AAT tables.
I know. (I've built OpenType fonts with both OpenType features and AAT
features myself.)
All these fonts have both OpenType and AAT feature tables.
Well, my whole point is that this is not true for Hiraginu (in contrast
to other Apple fonts), at least according to ftxdumperfuser (and other
command line font tools such as ttx):
01:38:57 [spring:~/Fonts-Ligaturen] uli% ftxdumperfuser -l
HiraginuW3.otf | grep mor
01:40:44 [spring:~/Fonts-Ligaturen] uli% ftxdumperfuser -l Skia.dfont |
grep mor
'mort' (11852 bytes)
(Note: I have renamed the Hiraginu .otf file from its original Asian
name for easier handling, but it is the original Apple font that comes
with Mac OS X)
Bye
Uli
