Older versions of Stuffit Expander will mess up resource forks included
in ZIP files created with the built-in ZIP archiving... so you have to
depend on the user using a new version or using the built-in expanding.
In my experience, a .dmg is the way to go; it also provides for a more
intuitive experience (you can include a message like "To install, drag
this to your Applications folder" or whatever).
