How to adjust the drag & drop start timing?

Hi,

This is a FAQ of my Cocoa application.

-------

Q: Why can’t I use drag and drop? Doesn’t <your application> support it?

A: <My application> of course supports drag and drop functionality. However,
the timing used in Cocoa applications differs from that used for Carbon
applications, so those used to <old Carbon applications> may have to adjust.
In Cocoa applications, you must hold the mouse button down for about one
second before dragging.

-------

I think the interval for holding the mouse button is tool long.
Does anybody know how to adjust the drag & drop start timing?
