Setting ignoredWords for a NSTextView

  • Subject: Setting ignoredWords for a NSTextView

Hi all,

I have a window which contains a NSTextView which should ignore certain words when the user invokes the SpellChecker. My code so far looks like this:

- (void) awakeFromNib
{
    ...

    NSArray* ignoredWords = [self ignoredWords];
    // an NSArray containing NSString objects

[spellChecker setIgnoredWords: ignoredWords inSpellDocumentWithTag:[textView spellCheckerDocumentTag]];

    ...
}

But the SpellChecker doesn't ignore the words I set in awakeFromNib. I thought the above code would suffice. What do I have to do to programmatically ignore some words in a Spell-check af an NSTextView?

Thanks in advance

felix
