Apple Power Manager DDK problem with iMac G5 and PowerBook G4

  • Subject: Apple Power Manager DDK problem with iMac G5 and PowerBook G4

In my application I am using the "wakein" routine provided in the Apple Power Manager DDK to allow my application to wake the computer from sleep. However on an iMac G5 I get an error: "Error: Couldn't find PMU in IORegistry. This system may not support automatic wake." It also does not work on a PowerBook G4 1.33ghz. Those are the only 2 models that I've seen that do not support this. Is there a way to code around this for these models? Any help would be great!

Many thanks,
Jerry
