I am getting that as well - even BEFORE the documentation update

It seems there are some problems, at least for me. Do an API Search

I take it you're doing this download via Xcode?
Yes, but Xcode simply gets Safari to perform the actual download of
the disk image. I assume it is the same disk image that you just
downloaded.
I've downloaded the disk image via ADC today at my day job and will
install it tonight when I get home (I'm one of those 56K modem
users :P)
I'll report back if I see the same problem installing from the disk
image.
Perhaps this is some in-transit encoding issue when using Xcode to
download? Or maybe it's a problem with the doc indexer?
Like I said, I was getting the Xs BEFORE applying the update.
And having just completed the update, I am STILL getting them.
I don't think the problem has anything to do with the update, per se!
