Hi,
I use to get a dictionary from my web site just calling

    dictionaryWithContentsOfURL

On my machine works well. I have no router, I just connect my Ethernet port
to the ADSL line. On my friend's machine, with a router, it doesn't work.
WHY?

Something that I have seen once or twice is stringWithContentsOfURL failing to recognised that the data is has received is gzipped. I seem to recall there was a thread about this problem. It may help to use tcpdump or similar to see exactly what is being received by your application in both cases.
