NSDatePicker / NSDatePickerCell

  • Subject: NSDatePicker / NSDatePickerCell

NSDatePickerCell defines the constant NSEraDatePickerElementFlag ... "Display and allow editing of the era of the date, if applicable. (Available in Mac OS X v10.4 and later.)"

In what circumstance(s) *is* it 'applicable'? I've tried OR'ing all the flags (including NSEraDatePickerElementFlag), different combinations of those flags, and toggling the picker's style between NSTextFieldAndStepperDatePickerStyle and NSClockAndCalendarDatePickerStyle and can see no control appear to allow me to specify the era.

Is this flag actually implemented in 10.4 or are the docs wrong?
