nope, i'm just trying to write certain things AND learn the language (from a Pascal background and then ported to objective-c).
I'll eventually need to rewrite my bar code generator, my CPU emulator/assembler/disassembler, maze generator program, and my YSL compiler. upcoming projects on my list are PAL compilers and EPROM burner software for the mac.
as you know, eaxh of these items needs their own special way of doing things instead of standard built-in routines (I dont think standard USB interactivity is going to handle the EPROM burner software but that was the first time I looked at it, when apple first introduced it many years ago)
