As you guys probably know, OS X provides a script menu item (if you
enable it) that allows you to easily launch scripts.
For my part, I used to know because this support was somehow removed
(far less easy to enable it from the AppleScript folders) from Mac OS X
10.4.
Now, my application installs a little script that this script menu can
use. However, as part of the installation, I'd like to enable the
script menu if the user wants me to. I've found a way of finding out
if the menu is enabled using AppleScript, but I cannot find any way of
actually enabling it!
Open the MenuExtra with the LaunchServices API?
