NSScrollView Arrows not working

I have an NSMatrix subclass housed in an NSScrollView. The NSMatrix contents are bound to an NSArrayController, but when the content is resized outside of the scrollview, the scrollbar doesn't function correctly. The knob itself works fine, and clicking in the bar itself moves the view correctly, but the arrows at the end don't do anything. Has anyone run into this problem before? Is there something I need to do to make sure the NSScrollView gets updated correctly?
