Hi guys !

My customer wants me to add the support for a bluetooth barcode scanner to a Cocoa application. I don't know where to start and can't find any hints about this on the web. How am I supposed to retrieve the value returned by the scanner ? Is there a specialized API to achieve this ? What is the usual way ?

I don't know about Bluetooth barcode scanners, but the USB variety typically just behave like a keyboard. Since there are Bluetooth keyboards, perhaps it's the same case, but I don't know - have you tried pairing the device and then scanning some things and seeing if anything happens?
