Clipping text from NSLayoutManager

  • Subject: Clipping text from NSLayoutManager

Hi,

I want to clip my drawing area using CGContextClipToRect. This work very well on NSImage, CIImage, NSRectFill and so on.

But it does not work if I want to clip my text output, that is drawn by

[layoutmanager drawGlyphsForGlyphRange:glyphRange atPoint:origin];

The text will be drawn ignoring the clipping rect.

Any ideas?

Greetings,

Thomas Dingler
