That's because they were taken out in Leopard. Several other countries' were as well.

Huh. They seem to exist in /usr/share/zoneinfo


What I meant was, they still exist in /usr/share/zoneinfo, but they are no longer returned by +knownTimeZoneNames as of Leopard. They were in Tiger and earlier.

I see. Do you know why that was done?
