I don’t think you’d get any lectures, rather questions about why it doesn’t offer what you need.

Core Animation is just a means to add animation to what you offer. but even that is lower than you may need to go to achieve anything you might need.

NSCollectionView, I’m not sure it would give you want you want either.

You’ll likely need to handle this yourself.
