Y'know...I've now read so much about, of and from profile editors,
CBedit manuals, Kodak ColorFlow gup, CustomColorICC gumbo, and dregs
upon dregs upon dregs in the ICC spec and all that there internet
stuff, and I quite simple cannot find anything which just bluntly
says "To edit a white point proceed as follows" or "Edit WPtag" or
"Input this value here" or perhaps even "punch these XYZs directly
into your data." Ben Griffin's Profile Editor is the simplest, most
direct tool I've seen to date but it doesn't support MFT2 tags and
bumps my 16bits down to 8bit.
Can anyone out there email me the brief (or long) passage in their
profile editing documentation which describes this process? If it
happens to make enough sense or can be demonstrated to work they may
even be responsible for a sale. That is if I can get our shop to
cough up more buckaroos for another go round...
I only want to edit the @#$%(*&^% 1c1m1y scum out of my @#$%##$
printer output profiles. What is this anyway? @#$%%)*&^ rocket
science!

WP > What Point
WP > Wondrous probability (i.e. Vulcan profiling HP20ps with ProfileMaker 4.0)
ICC > an opposite of UCC
ICC > a derivative of ARRRGH; see UCC
