Considering purchase of Epson 7000.
My 2000P is loved but I keep imaging/imagining little green people.
Have had operated conventional color laboratory for twenty years in a family business.
Now I am into a PowerBook plus digital toys phase.
Any idea of standard Epson ink fading? 25, 30 years? Also, is it possible to use this
printer for portrait work, ie, clean whites, blacks, accurate skin tones at the same
time? I see a lot of very questionable skin tones in digital portraiture in the
magazines. Maintenance problems with Epson; support, is it there?
I have noticed problems when applying protective spray lacquer to many inkjet papers,
mottling in black areas on Epson papers, as well as perpetual stickiness with Kodak
glossy inkjet paper. Your experience is welcome.
Thanks for any information ahead of time.
