Just out of curiosity, what does 255, 0, 0 end up being in the Fuji space?
Also, if you create 255, 0, 0 in the Fuji space, what happens to it when you
convert to Adobe RGB?
Well I can tell you with MY Fuji (custom profile built for my PG3000....your
mileage WILL vary).
Take 255/0/0 in Adobe RGB and in Fuji RGB you get:
255/96/64 using a Perceptual intent
255/84/53 using a Relative Colorimetric.

Note that both these colors have 100% saturation in Fuji RGB space,
just different hues and lightness.
Any time a color is gamut clipped, some tradeoff must be performed
between preserving hue, saturation and lightness. This tradeoff is
made the profile creation software. Often a human would make
different tradeoffs.
