Yes, few fashion photographers shoot creative work on transparent color
positive film. Your best off scanning a print though as without a print as
reference color you'll miss the intention of the photographer. The neg has
so much more latitude that you'll have to base your repro work on your view,
thus surely the interpretation will be vastly different than the creators
intention.
