The only ICC workflow compatible lab I know of in Paris is Picto Front de
Seine. What they use for their color integration is flawed but reasonable
results are possible and consistent.

It's possible that there are colors that a Lambda could produce outside of
the gamut of a typical CRT monitor. The softproof onscreen though should be
quite similar and reliable for color correction on screen. You really need
your monitor calibrated though and profiled well for this or any screen
centric work.

Are they right?
No very wrong and not helpful. Denis Drouin at Picto FdS will be more
helpful.

If your rgb is tagged and your preview accurate on screen then no. Normally
I work in CMYK but when I output or rather outsource the output
transparencies = my screen = a inkjet print= a Lambda. In fact when you scan
on a Heidelberg that is well profiled you should output an exact duplicate
using this method. These are the advantages real and achievable that good
labs are benefiting from today.
