Well, if you have chosen an 'RGB PCS' in which to spec color, and you
have chosen Adobe RGB (1998) as 'RGB PCS' in order to get good color
on press, then try the Color Cookbook on ColorSync home page in which
one of Steve's ColorThink 2b20 QuickTime movies shows that Adobe RGB
(1998) does not support pure ink tank Y 100% in ISO 12647-2 paper
type 1 for glossy offset. You'll find the gamut comparison in the
Monitors chapter under the title 'The press-oriented RGB working
space'. This is why eciRGB10 was developed by Karl Koch and why
NewColor 7000 ships with both Adobe RGB (1998) and eciRGB10 as
default RGB spaces, if you don't want / can't use 8 bit or 16 bit Lab
(looong thread, oooold story -:)).
