Just to put my 2 cents in,
you have to ask yourself how much time you give your final prints to
dry.
If you are going to present your printouts to your clients 30 minutes
after
printing, you should consider a dryingtime of 30 minutes before
profiling!
Its always a dillemma. Best/EFI for example recommends a drying time
of 30 minutes for their linearisation charts. Much to low, in my
opinion.
But can you argue to your customers that you are going to read half a
dozen
of newspapers while you should originally calibrate their proofer?
If possible, I try to handle the problem with two profiles:
one "instant" with about 1 hour drying time,
and one "archival" with about 1 day drying time.
