Colormanagement with two Displays that differ as strong as a CG210 or 220 which reach nearly AdobeRGB and an other Diplay that reaches only sRGB is not quite funny.
In between I believe that Mac OS X System Colormanagement didn't ever worked for several Display, whereas because of the similar Gammuts of all CRTs that doesn't matter.
The finder and other Apple applications only match the colors to one of the two Displays (The one choosen as standard Device in the ColorSync Utility ).
Furthermore the finder did an other CM than open or save as dialogues:

Exception is Photoshop. But there it needs a refresh of every picture that 's drawn from one to the other Display.
