I have been using an IPF8000 for about a year now and make all my own
profiles with Monaco Profiler 4.8.3. I think they look great.

Yes, another best kept secret, IMO. Especially if one plays with and uses Perceptual rendering. In some cases, MP's 2 step profiling with customized target generation has unique advantages.


I tried PM5.x and Bills targets but I preferred the Monaco Profiles myself.

FYI, you can use Bill's 1728 Monaco friendly target, measure in ColorPort, convert the measurement data to Lab using his supplied script and import in MonacoProfiler. I have found the results to be slightly better than with XRite's 1728 targets.
