Yes. And it does not occur in other CS (Photoshop or InDesign).
This seems like more of an (unforeseen) ECI mistake, releasing an
updated profile without a different name.
They released the new version intentionally and "silent" -- they did not
expect to cause trouble -- a false estimation. And a very, very bad idea
*not* to use a different name IMHO.
Yes, it doesn't get updated much but I'm not sure I disagree with
AI's assessment that is it a different profile...
If AI assumes that it's a different profile, the user must be warned (as
requested in the color settings) -- if AI assumes the profiles are the
same (like Photoshop or InDesign), no conversion should happen.
