Hello all (first time question )

Has anyone had any experience in measuring stochastic dot area on printing
plates. I have a CC Dot device for reading plates it works well with
conventional screening but will not read Stochastic at all. Giving reading
of 0% or 100% only
I have also tried a traditional densitometer with and without a polarizing
filter without success

I found a Xrite 528 to be more repeatable than an older CCDot and an ICPlate II, in unscientific testing. Since the 528 is calculating dot area from density, it doesn't care what kind of screen you measure.
