The optics are so far away from the bed that you actually get a
genuine depth of field of around 3-5mm
We've had great fun over the years using it to capture 3D objects like
circuit boards, butterflies and even turkey skin for an ad campaign.
Shame that the Scanview scanner line got killed off after the company
was swallowed by Purup :-(
