Without the SpectraView II software, you're not getting all the purity you
could be getting (isn't the correct Chris)?

Another gem from Karl's and Chri's presentation. Just because a company
OEM's the same panel, doesn't make the reduction in price a good deal,
often, the quality of the panels sold to such companies are not of the same
caliber. Karl explained how the panels are made in huge pieces and tested,
those that don't necessarily fall within original manufacturer's spec are
often sold to others, in this case LaCie.
The Sony Artisan as an example used the same tube as other lesser expensive
Sony models but each tube was hand picked from the line for specific
tolerances in order to be built into the Artisan package. You get what you
pay for.
