Jim,

"Perfect" is going to be hard to come by.

One question, why bother "converting": why not go straight to "assign" the
new C3 and C5 profiles to new documents? In EFI, just convert from C3 or C5
to your printer's profile.

With C3 and C5 profiles shipping with CS4, I think it's high time for people
to give up SWOPv2.

Can I get an "AMEN!" on that one? It's almost as if people don't realize that SWOPv2 is officially out-moded and should be replaced with SWOP C3/C5. Time to move on!

Hello All
I've made several SWOP C3 and C5 profiles using Profile Maker, Monaco
and
the EFI system on their rip from the data sets provided on the
IDEAlliance
website. I've seen slight color differences in each profile when
converting
from old SWOP to the new Specs. What I'm asking is, has anyone created
a
SWOP C3 or C5 profile that they feel does a perfect job of converting
color.
I have art directors who are super sensitive to color changes.
Please send me any recommendations or profiles.
Thanks
Jim Mitchell
