Device viewing angle is really more of an issue with low quality
displays; cheap screens show bad colors when you view them from an
angle. Good screens are much more consistant at a wider viewing angle.
The viewing angle of Spyder devices were reduced, between the Spyder2
and Spyder3 models, specifically to avoid off color light from low
quality screens. Good screens like Eizos are on-color for any
reasonable measurement angle. And that angle is much wider than 2 or
10 degrees, which is one reason that I feel sure it 2 degree and 10
degree observer values that Eizo is speaking of, not device
measurement angles. I think you have gotten hold of the wrong end of
this issue.
