Well, after zealous beginnership I decided to start over. I followed
directions to removing X11 and fink (yikes! it was scary-so many
warnings about using rm and rmdir, I was sure my computer would melt
into a pile of goo). So now, when the terminal starts up I get:
/sw/bin/init.csh: No such file or directory.
[localhost:~] david%
This makes sense because /sw is indeed gone, which is what I expected
according to the directions I followed. I just didn't think it would
matter. In fact, it doesn't seem to affect much, but I haven't tried
much.
Any suggestions? How should I go about fixing this? I can still
change shells tcsh, csh, sh etc but obviously csh types give me the
above message.
thanks for any input,
dbg
