Has anyone else observed the following behaviour with beta 0.2 (that
didn't exist with beta 0.1).
-X11 launches just fine from the Administrator's account (used to
install X11) but fails from other accounts with the following console
msg:
I had something like this. I took Haroon's suggestion and did a clean
re-install (sudo rm -rf /Applications/X11.app ...)
No luck though. The original user who installed X11 works just fine.
The second user (who re-installed X11 btw) gets just a zombie
process. X never starts. This was working fine before 0.2.
Both users have the same .xinitrc file. Both are administrators.
Both have fink paths setup via /sw/bin/init.sh.
It's actually the *first* user after a restart that gets to use Xll.
The work-around is a loginhook to delete the log file; search the
archives for the code....
