OK, sorry for going off topic, but I just have one more cleaning question, and I think there are some newbies here who might benefit from this knowledge, too.

When I got started, I did an install of GIMP and VIM through the openDarwin mpkg's. Those went into my usr/ folder, which is taking up a half-gig of space. I later installed Gimp through fink-commander (into sw/), and I'm happy with it, but even though I have 10 more GB of space, I'm still nagged by that extra install of stuff just sitting somewhere in my usr/ folder.

My question is: how does one go about removing opendarwin ports? Their FAQ is very much developer-focused.
