I found I had to disable my Logitech Control Center (LCCDeamon) on
Panther in order to get the standard X11 mouse button functionality
(selecting copies the selection to clipboard, middle button pastes)
back.
And I had to do the defaults write operation to "defaults write
com.apple.x11 no_quit_alert -bool true" in order to quit out of X11
with command-q
Someone mentioned that the command key is used as a meta key modifier
in X11 apps, but I don't know if this will interfere there...

Logitech Wheel Mouse Optical
- Optical
- USB
- 3 buttons
- Scroll wheel
- $25
- No drivers needed
No doubt other people will respond with all manner of
ridiculously-shaped 65-button mice costing $70 saying that they're a
"MUST-HAVE", but this is all you need, and it's very nice. ;-)

Any recommendations for a 3-Button mouse that works
under X11 in Panther(10.3).
If so, does it need special drivers?
