Interesting, however, that Apple continues to support Safari, iTunes,
iCal, iPod, iMovie, iPhoto, (have I missed any?) for 10.2, and some
even for 10.1. Why not add X11 to this list? Perhaps the OS changes
required for X11.app 1.0 cannot be fit into Jaguar -- fine, then why
not keep the beta *available* *without support* for those not upto
jumping into Panther? Really, put a link on the page, a file on the
server, and a disclaimer (probably the same as what's already there).
Wow, here's an idea, they could put in some *advertising* of the new
features they would get if they upgrade to Panther and X11 1.0!
This whole discussion has really popped any dreams I had of Apple
being any different from any other software company in the universe...
I know, I know...I was a fool to think it in the first place...
