Hmm.. I still get an error, and the logs say there was an issue running
the "postupgrade" script. There isn't a postupgrade script in the .pkg

I see the line
[ -x /usr/bin/Rez ] && /usr/bin/Rez -a -o /usr/X11/bin/Xquartz AddPlist.r
in the postinstall script. This doesn't try to *use* Rez when it doesn't
exist, but it then still returns false which gives a non-zero exit code
for the whole script. Using
[ ! -x ... ] || ...
would return true.
Anyway, why is the resource fork added at the user's end and not already
in the package?
