Hey all,
A huge thanks to the people (Jeremy, Nate, Ben, everyone) who made
that package installer possible. In my global Leopard growing pains
and frustrations, I am very grateful for the amount of support this
has. Oh, open source.
I had one question regarding that package installer. I generally move
my X11 out of the dark corner of 'Utilities' into /Applications/, and
I was wondering if the installer was "smart" enough to realize this.
No, it's not smart. You'll have the updated one in Utilities.
Furthermore, you may have seen a post I made about combining the two
X11.apps. In the next package it *might* expect X to be in /A/U/
X11.app ... I say might because that is just my first step in cleaning
this stuff up. If there is any consequence to moving the .app, I'll
put it in bold in the release notes.
