Dear Jeremy,
many thanks to you! This release really rocks!
For the first time with Leopard I can start my MacPorts Scribus right
from Terminal.app.
So far I always got a message, that told me "Cannot connect to X
server" or something like this...
My environment:
MacBook Pro with Intel Core Duo 2 GHz, MacOS 10.5.1, MacPorts 1.520
and X11 2.1.1
Many thanks again,
Thorsten.

Uhm... there are no forks.
What I'd like to know is, what do I need to do to go from my box
stock Leopard X11 installation (xquartz upgraded to 1.30a2) to the
lastest/greatest bump?
Install X11 that comes with leopard, then install this update.
Anything more than dragging the current X environment to the trash
can and installing this new version?
Don't delete the old X11. As mentioned in the release notes, this
is an update and not a full install.
I just seem to have a recollection of a post going by that says to
change some library.
As mentioned on the releases page, the package contains all
necessary changes. _______________________________________________
