Hello, Mark
Essentially, the Mac was pre-configured. I just plugged the power connector
and attached keyboard+mouse. Everything was ready. I purchased the
Microsoft Office package, and have those disks handy. I can't recall ever
seeing the installation disks, but this equipment was purchased in March
2007 (too late for any claim).
At this moment, I am running on Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger). I guessed that the
meaning of the message was bogus. I found no way to go around it.
I did call the local retailer, and the installation disks are available for
$40. It looks like there is no option, but to purchase them.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Ferdinand
