How does one do this, given that a) There is no boxed version of Tiger
that installs on a Intel Mac and b) Tiger pack in install disks are
linked to a certain hardware platform (so there's not guarantee the
disks you have from another machine will work on a new one) and c)
installing Tiger from another machine's install disk, even if it
works, is breaking Apple's licensing agreement for the OS.
Apple haven't give us a downgrade path to Tiger from Leopard for a new
machine.
