I am new to Darwin/MacOSX 10.5.7 (Intel Xeon Mac Pro hardware,
Nvidia 8800 GT graphics), therefore maybe some of the issues aren't
any at all:
(1) if starting xterm on the blank X11-server, e.g.
xterm -bw 4 -bd tan &
the 4-pixels wide window border appears white (or in few cases shows
garbage/wrong colours).
(2) The 'xmag' utility seems to not work.
(3) gvim now crashes (and sometimes crashes the whole X11-server).
gvim crashed under the X11-version from the install-CD too, with a
diagnostic message

but then starting with '-f' into the background the crash could be
avoided and gvim was quite usable.
Though, vim with Xaw appears solid, does not crash (and didn't too).
Plain GTK applications continue to work, e.g. "gtk-demo" shows no
problems.
I am willing to give further info if anything might be relevant. :-)
Greetings,
Eeri Kask
P.S. I am running X11 in fullscreen mode, and most of the
X11-configuration (Cmd-,) checkbox items are off (except
"full-screen-mode" and remote access items, which are on).
