(1) if starting xterm on the blank X11-server, e.g.
xterm -bw 4 -bd tan &
the 4-pixels wide window border appears white (or in few cases shows
garbage/wrong colours).
quartz-wm doesn't support window borders.
(2) The 'xmag' utility seems to not work.
Yeah, I wouldn't expect it to.
(3) gvim now crashes (and sometimes crashes the whole X11-server).
gvim crashed under the X11-version from the install-CD too, with a
diagnostic message
This crash should not take down the server. Can you please show me
the crash log where this crashed the server? It may be in
~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter
but then starting with '-f' into the background the crash could be
avoided and gvim was quite usable.
Though, vim with Xaw appears solid, does not crash (and didn't too).
Plain GTK applications continue to work, e.g. "gtk-demo" shows no
problems.
I am willing to give further info if anything might be relevant. :-)
This is a Leopard/gvim issue. I'd report it to the gvim developers.
