huge __LINKEDIT section

I've ported an application from CodeWarrior 9 to XCode 2.1 and it has grown immensely.

Using 'size -m' I find that the significant growth is in the __LINKEDIT section, which was 40 kilobytes under CodeWarrior and is now 128 megabytes.

Presumably I've got the wrong value for some build setting, but I can't work out what. I've looked for __LINKEDIT and LINKEDIT in the documentation but could not see anything obvious.
