We had a similar problem with an app project and a set of library
projects: you have the app project open, you Open Quickly a header you
know is one of the library projects, and nothing happens - even though
the libraries are all dependencies of the app.
In CW the app project would have searched its dependencies when trying
to find a file for you, which would be good to have (rdar://4183521) so
you don't have to keep all your library projects open.
Our solution is to explicitly add paths to the Opening Quickly prefs
panel. Unfortunately these paths don't support the /** syntax to
indicate they're recursive (rdar://4183519), so you need to add them
all.
It does mean you're no longer looking for files in the same way the
compiler does - so potentially you could find the 'wrong' file. You'll
also only find files in the areas you've listed, but it might let you
avoid this rebuild issue.
