For Carbon questions there is the carbon-dev mail list. for Cocoa
questions there is the cocoa-dev mail list. For Quartz (or probably any
graphics questions) there is the quartz-dev mail list.

Hmmm. That was precisely the gist of the introduction remark... My question
is *not* a Cocoa question, *nor* a Carbon question, *neither* a QuickDraw
question ... If anyone knows of a list that deals with technologies at the
_boundary_ between "core OS" and higher level frameworks (whether Cocoa,
Carbon or other) that's where I'd like to go :-)
[hence the title of this thread]

To come back on topic w.r.t the XCode mailing list, and assuming
I am interested in Quartz, how would I set-up a project that is neither
Carbon based, nor Cocoa based, yet uses Quartz? As a "BSD command line target",
and adding ... which headers? where from ?

Many Thanks
