[Xcode] creating lib from .a files

  • Subject: [Xcode] creating lib from .a files

Hey all,

I've got a project which has several dozen targets that are built separately into (BSD and Carbon) static libraries.
The final step should be to create one large static library from the various individual ones.

I've created a new target, and added the ".a" files to the Link Build Phase, but nothing gets created...

Shouldn't this be possible?
Do I have to go back to the (hundreds of) ".o" files to create the all-encompassing static library?

Thanks in advance,
--Dave
